Overall dimensions of this owl box are 12" Wide x 14" Tall x 10.25" Deep. For best results mount 10 to 20 feet high in a large, dense tree.
Made of 7/8" thick wood, unlike the competition, our thickness protects the owls and owlets by providing an insulated home, which is crucial for their survival. Thinner wood could result in weak incubation and exposure to freezing conditions.
The front door of this owl house swings up for easy cleaning and also has drainage holes in the bottom for proper drainage
Comes with a small bag of shavings and 2 mounting screws.
